Polish born soprano Irena Grainge took a serious interest in singing after migrating to Australia. She studied with various teachers including Jacques Pottier, formerly a principal tenor with the Opéra National de Paris. Irena has appeared as a soloist and has performed in a number of venues both in Australia and overseas.
Her repertoire includes vocal arrangements by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Dvorzak, however her passion continues to be the singing of songs by Chopin.
